The Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority (MAGLA) proudly partnered with and sponsored the Zomba City Festival with MK5 million in support of arts, culture and tourism promotion.
The festival brought together people from across the country to celebrate Malawi’s rich cultural heritage through music, art and other community activities. MAGLA’s participation reflects the Authority’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote social interaction, cultural growth and local tourism.
During the event, MAGLA also engaged festival patrons through responsible gambling awareness activities. Informational flyers on responsible gaming were distributed, while an interactive quiz on the gaming and lotteries industry attracted enthusiastic participation from attendees.
Participants who answered quiz questions correctly won various branded prizes, including hats, t-shirts, pens and drinking bottles.
MAGLA remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote community engagement, cultural development and responsible gambling awareness across Malawi.
